Join the Austin Stewards of the Wild for a fishing outing at Redfish Lodge in Port O’Connor, Texas!

We’ll head out Saturday morning for a half-day guided fishing trip (conventional or fly fishing), targeting some of the Texas coast’s favorites, including slot Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Tarpon. All fishing equipment is provided, and fish cleaning and processing are included, so all you need to do is show up ready to fish!

The trip also includes dinner Friday night, along with breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Redfish Lodge has a full bar on-site (alcohol not included). Guests are welcome to bring their own favorites, and we’ll provide some additional beverages as well.

Cost: $315 for conventional, $585 for fly fishing

Includes lodging, one guided half day fishing trip, Friday dinner, and Saturday breakfast and lunch. Note: Gratuities for captains, chefs and waitstaff are not included in the event cost.

Come ready for a great weekend on the water, incredible food, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy Port O’Connor with fellow SOTW members!

Trip Schedule:

  • Friday 5 PM – Begin to arrive
  • Friday 7 PM – Dinner provided
  • Friday night – Hang out and prep for morning fishing
  • Saturday 5 AM – Breakfast delivered to your suite
  • Saturday 5:45 AM  – Depart for half day fishing
  • Saturday lunch – Provided at lodge prior to departure

What to bring:

  • Texas Fishing License
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Gratuities (recommended 20% tip to your fishing guide of the trip price)

Note: Want to extend your trip through Sunday? You can add on an additional night with accommodations and meals inclusive for an additional $315 for conventional fishing and $585 for fly fishing. Ask us how!
